Delete your account.

You can remove your AstroSutra account and the personal data held with it at any time. This page explains exactly what happens — and lets you do it yourself in under a minute.

How to request deletion

There are three ways, and all three delete the same things.

In the app

Open the AstroSutra Android app and go to Profile → Delete Account. Enter your password to confirm. Deletion is immediate.

ii.

On this page

Sign in below and use the form. Same result, no app needed. Deletion is immediate.

iii.

By email

Write to contact@astrosutra.in from your registered email address. We complete these within 7 working days.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Deleted permanently

  • Every reading you have received
  • Every astrology-tool analysis and Birth Time Finder report
  • Your name, email address and phone number
  • Your date, time and place of birth, including the coordinates we computed from it
  • Any questions still remaining on your account
  • All signed-in sessions, on every device, immediately

This happens straight away and cannot be undone. We do not keep a recovery copy.

Kept, in anonymised form

Records of payments you made — the amount, date and gateway reference — are retained with your personal details stripped out. They can no longer be linked back to you by name, email or phone.

We keep these because Indian tax and accounting law requires businesses to retain financial records for eight years. After that period they are purged in the normal course.

A note on unused questions

Deleting your account forfeits whatever is still in your wallet. Top-ups are non-refundable, as set out in our Refund Policy. If you have money remaining and would rather use it first, please do that before deleting.
