Terms & Conditions

These are the terms you accept when you use AstroSutra. We have written them in plain language wherever possible. Please read them carefully — by signing up or placing an order, you agree to everything below.

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“you”, “user”) and Rank First Technologies, the company that owns and operates AstroSutra (“we”, “us”, “AstroSutra”), with its registered studio at F-542, Industrial Area Phase 8A, Sector 75, Mohali, Punjab, India. The service is offered through the website https://astrosutra.in.

By creating an account, browsing the site, or buying a plan, you confirm that you have read these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, and the Disclaimer, and that you accept all of them.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law to use AstroSutra. By registering, you confirm that you meet these requirements. We reserve the right to verify age and to suspend accounts that we believe belong to minors.

3. The service we provide

AstroSutra produces written Vedic astrology readings using your birth details and the question you submit. Each reading is generated through a combination of classical astrological calculations (planetary positions, house analysis, dasha periods) and modern automated composition, all reviewed against established Vedic principles.

Readings are provided for guidance, reflection, and entertainment only. They are not a substitute for professional advice. Please read our Disclaimer carefully.

4. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information when registering — particularly your date, time, and place of birth, since these determine the entire chart.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. Activity that takes place under your login is treated as your activity.
  • One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts to claim the joining money more than once is a breach of these Terms and may result in account termination.
  • Notify us at contact@astrosutra.in immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

5. The joining money

When you create an account, ₹51 is placed in your wallet at no cost. Whatever you spend it on is identical in quality to anything paid for, and it is given so that you can decide whether AstroSutra is right for you before spending any money of your own. By later adding money to your wallet, you confirm that you used (or chose to skip) the joining money and are satisfied with the quality of the service.

6. Payments and pricing

  • All prices listed on the site are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Payments are processed by third-party PCI-compliant gateways. We do not store your card or banking credentials.
  • You authorise us (or our payment partner) to charge the agreed amount to your chosen payment method.
  • We may update pricing at any time. New prices apply only to new purchases — they do not affect plans you already own.

7. Refunds

Because each reading is uniquely generated and delivered immediately, all paid purchases are final and non-refundable, except in the narrow technical-failure circumstances set out in our Refund Policy. The free first question replaces the need for refunds — it lets you experience the service in full before paying.

8. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

  • Use AstroSutra for any unlawful purpose or to encourage unlawful activity.
  • Submit questions designed to obtain medical, legal, financial, or psychiatric advice in lieu of consulting a qualified professional.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or redistribute the readings, prompts, or astrological logic of the service.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scripts, crawlers) to access the site or the API except where we have authorised it in writing.
  • Resell or republish AstroSutra readings — they are licensed to you for personal use only.
  • Submit content that is abusive, hateful, harassing, or that targets another identifiable person without their consent.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, plan restrictions, or the free-question allotment.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the system, or breach any security or authentication measures.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these rules, with or without notice.

9. Intellectual property

The AstroSutra name, logo, written content, design system, code, and all underlying technology are owned by Rank First Technologies and protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and trade-secret law.

The text of the personalised reading we deliver to you is licensed for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may print it, save it, or share it privately with people you choose. You may not republish it on another site, sell it, or use it as training input for another automated system.

10. Automated output

AstroSutra readings are composed automatically, guided by classical Vedic frameworks and our own astrological logic. While we test rigorously, automated composition can occasionally produce output that is incomplete, oddly phrased, or factually imprecise about non-astrological matters. Please treat your reading as guidance to reflect on, not as a verified statement of fact about the world.

11. Service availability

We aim to keep AstroSutra available 24×7, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the service for maintenance, security, upgrades, or for reasons beyond our control. Where downtime materially affects a paid plan, we may add credits to your account at our discretion.

12. Third-party services

AstroSutra integrates with third-party services such as payment gateways, email providers, and language-technology platforms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or terms of those third parties. Your use of those services is governed by their own agreements.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

AstroSutra is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any reading will be accurate, complete, useful, or that it will produce any particular outcome in your life.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, AstroSutra, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any and all claims, in aggregate, is limited to the amount you actually paid AstroSutra in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AstroSutra, Rank First Technologies, and their officers, employees, and partners from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of any third-party right.

16. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, attempt to defraud us, or use the service in a way we reasonably consider harmful. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days in advance, where we have your address. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

18. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mohali, Punjab, India.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
