We use the Chaldean table Indian Ank Jyotish is built on, and never mix in Pythagorean. Sites that mix them return one name number here and a different one on the next page. Ours will always agree with itself.

Number friendships come from classical graha maitri rather than one of the many conflicting numerology charts in circulation. 1 is Surya, 4 is Rahu, 8 is Shani — so your numbers and your kundali describe the same nine grahas.

Before you ask

Is this really free, or is there a catch later?
Really free, and there is no later. All fifteen calculators work without an account, an email or a card, and they will stay that way. The arithmetic runs on our own server with no paid service behind it, so a calculation genuinely costs us nothing. What costs money is the written interpretation — that is a real AI call — and that is the only thing we charge for. Even then, your first one is free.
Do I need my birth time or birth place?
No. Numerology needs only the date, which is why it works for the many people whose exact birth time was never recorded. If you do know your time and want the full kundali as well, the astrology side of the site uses it — and if you don't, Birth Time Finder can estimate it from events in your life.
Chaldean or Pythagorean — which do you use?
Chaldean, without exception. It assigns values 1–8 by sound, never uses 9 for a letter, and is the system Indian Ank Jyotish grew out of. Pythagorean is the Western alphabetical system most other sites use. Mixing them is what makes a name return two different numbers on two different pages, so we picked one and locked it.
Will changing my name spelling actually change anything?
Only if you use it. A correction works through repetition — signature, email, introductions, social media — not by being written down once and filed away. And it will not make you rich on its own. What it can do is stop a name that pulls against your birth numbers from doing so. We would rather say that plainly than sell you a miracle.
What do I get if I pay?
A written reading of roughly 700 words about what these specific numbers mean for you — the tension between your Mulank and Bhagyank, what the compound number warns about, which months of this year to act in. It arrives in English and हिन्दी and is saved to your account. One credit, the same as any reading on the site, and the first is free.
